VAMON contain Mycorrhiza are a group of beneficial fungi that form symbiotic associations with the roots of most plants. These fungi extend the root system through a network of hyphae, significantly increasing the plant's ability to absorb water and essential nutrients—particularly phosphorus—from the soil.

In return, the fungi receive carbohydrates produced by the plant through photosynthesis. This mutualistic relationship not only enhances plant growth and vigor but also improves crop yield and promotes long-term soil fertility by enhancing nutrient cycling and soil structure
